3 Injured in Rollover Accident on Highway 180 [Fresno, CA]

Passenger Ejected after Rollover Accident on Highway 180 near Temperance Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (July 5, 2022) – Three people sustained injuries in a rollover accident on Highway 180 on Friday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on July 1 at about 8:15 p.m. The car reportedly had a blown tire and the driver lost control.
 
Then, the vehicle crashed, overturned, and went down an embankment near the Temperance Avenue offramp.
 
As per reports, the rear passenger was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the crash.
 
Emergency crews transported the victim, identified as a man in his 20s, to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The driver and another passenger suffered minor injuries.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
