Police Officers Among Injured in Patrol Vehicle Crash near Adams Boulevard in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 25, 2024) — Three people were injured after a police car and a vehicle crashed at Adams Boulevard and Gramercy Place.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the two-car crash happened around 6:00 p.m. Sunday. While a pair of LAPD officers were responding to calls about a psychiatric patient with a knife, their patrol vehicle crashed into a civilian car.
 
Subsequently, paramedics responded and took the officers to a hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle suffered critical wounds. He was described as breathing but not conscious.
 
At this time, authorities do not have more information on this accident. However, investigators said the patrol car had its lights and sirens on prior to the impact.
