Vehicle Hits, Injures Two Pedestrians on Almaden Avenue in San Jose
SAN JOSE, CA (August 9, 2022) – Three people were injured in a pedestrian accident at Almaden Avenue and West Reed Street in San Jose on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened around 4:03 p.m. on August 9 at 280 Freeway near Highway 87. According to the San Jose Police Department, a vehicle struck two adult female pedestrians who were walking at the intersection.
Responding paramedics took the pedestrians to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver only had minor injuries.
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol was involved. Further investigation is underway.
