3 Hurt in Multi-Car Crash on 47th Avenue in South Sacramento

 
SOUTH SACRAMENTO, CA (May 26, 2022) — Three people were injured in a multi-car accident on 47th Avenue at Steiner Drive on Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 2:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, at least five cars crashed, causing one car to catch on fire.
 
At some point during the accident, a driver in a Maserati was ejected from the vehicle.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and brought the individual ejected from the car to a hospital with significant injuries.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics took two others with minor injuries in for care.
