HALF MOON BAY, CA (March 15, 2022) — Three people suffered a range of injuries in a cement truck accident on Highway 1 near Capistrano Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened around 3:00 p.m. on Monday. For unknown reasons, a Ford driver and a cement truck collided north of Sam’s Chowder House.
 
Shortly after, paramedics requested a helicopter to airlift the Ford’s elderly female driver and her juvenile passenger to Stanford University Medical Center. Meanwhile, a team brought the cement truck driver to San Francisco General in an unknown state.
 
Due to the crash, officials closed the road for almost one hour.
 
At this time, authorities have not verified the precise circumstances of the crash. However, any witnesses who would like to help should contact the CHP.
