3 Hurt in Car Crash on El Sobrante Road in Lake Mathews

 
LAKE MATHEWS, CA (May 2, 2022) — Three people were injured in a 3-car accident on El Sobrante Road and Vista Del Lago Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 12:05 p.m. on Friday. For unknown reasons, a pickup truck and two cars collided at the location, to where Riverside County Fire Department crews responded within 15 minutes.
 
Subsequently, firefighters extricated two people from their respective vehicles. While one team took one victim to Riverside Community Hospital in critical condition, another airlifted the second victim to a trauma center. Meanwhile, the third patient suffered unspecified minor injuries in the crash.
