3 Hospitalized in Visalia Car Crash on Highway 41

 
VISALIA, CA (June 11, 2021) — Three people were injured in a two-car accident on Highway 41 near Nevada Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the head-on crash happened around 8:55 a.m. Upon arriving, officers learned that a white Ford F-150 heading northbound on Highway 41 at approximately 80 miles per hour tried to pass up a big rig and a car. However, the driver did not see an oncoming Hyundai Elantra traveling 55 miles per hour southbound. As a result, both cars collided head-on, causing significant damage to the Hyundai.
 
Following the accident, paramedics responded and transported the victims to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia and Adventist Health in Hanford.
