3 Hurt in Redding 2-Car Crash on Highway 299

 
REDDING, CA (April 26, 2022) — Three people were injured in a car accident on Highway 299 near Cheyenne Drive on Monday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 6:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver of a white Toyota Tacoma crossed over the double yellow line into oncoming traffic. Subsequently, the Toyota collided with a newer model black Chevy Camaro.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and ushered two people inside the Tacoma to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. As for the female driver of the Camaro, she sustained minor wounds, per reports.
