Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 in Tehama County Sends Three People to Hospital
TEHAMA COUNTY, CA (March 19, 2023) – Three people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 99 in Tehama County Wednesday morning on March 15.
The accident happened around 11:00 a.m. at Lassen Road, just near Rowles Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, at least three vehicles were involved. It started when a vehicle turning from the highway onto Rowles Road was hit head-on by another vehicle.
As a result, three people sustained minor injuries. All three patients were taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. CHP officials are still investigating the accident.
