3 Killed, Speeding Car Hits Tree on Irish Hill Road in Amador County

 
AMADOR COUNTY, CA (March 3, 2023) — Three people died after a car crashed into a tree on Irish Hill Road near Carbondale Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car crash happened around 1:54 p.m. Thursday. Investigators believe a car was speeding before it left the road and struck a nearby tree. Three victims inside the vehicle, described as one adult male and two children under 10, died at the scene. Authorities do not have their names at this time.
