4 Hospitalized after Car Crashes into Tree on Highway 180 at Highway 99 in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (July 12, 2022) – Four people sustained injuries after a car crashed into a tree on Highway 180 on Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on July 10 at about 2:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a Honda sedan swerved off the transition to Highway 180 from Highway 99.
 
Then, the vehicle went down an embankment and slammed into a tree.
 
Emergency crews transported a 12-year-old victim to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
 
As per reports, a 28-year-old man and two other victims also needed hospitalization.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
