26-Year-Old Tatina Jones Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Highway 37 near Mare Island

 
VALLEJO, CA (December 22, 2022) — Tatina Jones died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Highway 37 near Mare Island.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly hit-and-run accident happened around 3:37 a.m. Sunday. Under unknown circumstances, an unidentified vehicle and suspect struck 26-year-old Jones, of Hercules. The driver failed to stop and left her with fatal wounds.
 
Upon responding, investigators found the woman on the shoulder with fatal injuries, leading authorities to rule this as a hit-and-run.
