2-Year-Old Girl Struck, Killed by Car at Alhambra Condominium Complex on Larch Street

 
ALHAMBRA, CA (August 19, 2021) — A 2-year-old girl was hit and killed by a car at a condominium complex on Larch Street near Palm Avenue Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Alhambra Police Department, the fatal incident happened before 10:40 a.m. Under unknown circumstances, a driver struck the 2-year-old girl in the driveway of the complex. Soon after, officers and paramedics responded and immediately rendered life-saving efforts before taking the child to a local trauma center. However, efforts fell short and the child died from her injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. As for the parents, reports say they were around the location at the time. No further word on that.
