2 People Hurt in Santa Clarita Three-Car Crash on Highway 14

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (August 31, 2021) — Two people were injured in a three-car accident on Highway 14 near Soledad Canyon Road Saturday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the multi-car crash happened around 7:00 p.m. Per witnesses’ testimonies, a driver swerved into another lane and caused a traffic collision. As a result, two vehicles ended up on their side, one of them in the No. 1 lane and the other on the other side of the road.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and found one person with their legs pinned and an unconscious person in another car.
 
In the investigation, officers learned that another person left the scene, but had been later detained. However, it’s unclear if they tried to pull over at a safer location or tried to flee.
