2 Men Die in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Holt Boulevard in Montclair

 
MONTCLAIR, CA (February 3, 2023) — Two men died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Holt Boulevard and Ramona Avenue.
 
According to the Montclair police department, the fatal hit-and-run crash happened around 4:49 a.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a driver left the scene after hitting two men crossing southbound on Holt Boulevard. The suspect continued eastbound on the same road after the impact.
 
Shortly after, paramedics and police officers arrived at the scene and confirmed one of the men deceased, while the other one died at a hospital. Their identities are unavailable at this time, but reports said one was a Hispanic man between the ages of 35 and 40, and the other was a white male between the ages of 50 and 55 years old.
