Driver, Passenger Killed in Ramona Accident on San Vicente Road
RAMONA, CA (January 22, 2021) — Two people died Sunday evening in a fiery accident on San Vicente Road near Wildcat Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident happened at approximately 5:05 p.m.
Relying on evidence at the scene, detectives believe that a driver of a white Chevrolet Camaro was traveling at a high rate of speed. For unknown reasons, the eastbound Camaro drifted to the westbound lane and veered off the northern edge of the road. Subsequently, the vehicle struck several trees and ruptured into flames.
As a result of this high-speed crash, the driver and the passenger died at the scene.
