Two-Vehicle Accident on El Segundo Boulevard in Willowbrook Kills 2 and Leaves Another in Critical Condition

 
WILLOWBROOK, CA (January 24, 2022) – Two people died and another one sustained critical injuries after a two-vehicle accident at El Segundo Boulevard and Main Street on Saturday evening.
 
The accident happened around 9:40 p.m. on January 22. According to the California Highway Patrol, deputies were in pursuit of a suspect wanted for an unknown reason when the crash occurred.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department crews responded and located two cars that were severely damaged from the crash. They also found two people dead at the scene.
 
The identities of the two deceased were not immediately available.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics rushed a third patient to a trauma center in critical condition.
 
A traffic signal at the intersection was knocked down as a result of the crash.
 
At this time, the fatal crash is still under investigation.
