Driver Airlifted After Bakersfield Accident at Adobe Road and Sandrini Road

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 28, 2021) — Two people suffered injuries in a stop sign accident at Adobe and Sandrini roads in Bakersfield early Thursday morning.
 
Reports from the California Highway Patrol indicated that two vehicles collided at the intersection at about 5:50 a.m. A car reportedly ran a stop sign, causing a red pickup truck to hit its passenger side.
 
The drivers of both vehicles sustained injuries in the crash. Emergency personnel airlifted the driver of the car to Kerm Medical due to major injures. The driver of the pickup, meanwhile, had minor injuries and stayed at the scene.
 
There was no information available as to whether the pickup truck driver required transported to a hospital for treatment.
