Motorcycle and Sedan Collide on 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass Injuring Two Riders
CAJON PASS, CA (April 16, 2023) – Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass Saturday night on April 15.
The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. about two miles before the Cleghorn Road exit. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Nissan Sentra sedan and a blue probably a Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided in unclear circumstances.
A man and a woman who were riding on the motorcycle became detached, and both struck the ground on the fast lane. The driver of the Nissan then hit the center divider.
San Bernardino County Fire Department crews responded to assist.
An ambulance then took the two riders to a local hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the Nissan was also transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
