Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Car Crash on Ashlan Avenue near Fresno Street in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (June 27, 2022) – Two people sustained injuries in a hit-and-run collision on Ashlan Avenue on Friday.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened on June 24 at about 2:30 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, two vehicles collided in the area of Ashlan Avenue and Fresno Street near Highway 41.
 
The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to catch fire.
 
Emergency crews later transported two victims to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
However, one of the drivers reportedly fled the scene on foot. As per reports, investigators were unable to locate the male suspect.
