2 Hurt in Fresno DUI Crash on Highway 180

 
FRESNO, CA (May 25, 2021) — Two people were injured in a DUI accident on Highway 180 near Brawley Avenue Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 10:00 p.m. on the westbound highway. Due to DUI-related reasons, a driver in a Chevy Sonic rear-ended a Toyota pickup. Per reports, the Toyota pickup driver was about to go on a green traffic light when the incident occurred.
 
As a result of the collision, two men inside the pickup truck sustained injuries, one of whom was transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. Meanwhile, officers arrested the driver of the Chevy for driving under the influence.
