2 Hurt in DUI 2-Vehicle Collision on Phelan Road in Phelan

 
PHELAN, CA (December 11, 2024) — Two people were injured in a DUI 2-car accident on Phelan Road at Baldy Mesa Road.
 
According to the Victorville California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 11:00 a.m. on November 29. For possible DUI-related reasons, a driver of an eastbound Toyota ran through a red light. Subsequently, the Toyota crashed into a Honda making a left turn onto Baldy Mesa Road.
 
Reports stated that the Honda split into two due to the impact.
 
Minutes later, paramedics transported the 21-year-old female Honda driver to a hospital with minor injuries. The Toyota driver, who also was injured, was impaired at the time of the crash, officers surmised. They believe the male Toyota driver crashed into a minivan twice before leaving the scene and crashing into the Honda later.
