SANTA MARIA, CA (February 6, 2023) — Two people were injured after a car and a motorcycle crashed on Highway 101 at Donovan Road Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the Santa Maria Fire Department, the two-vehicle crash happened around 4:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, a car and a motorcycle crashed on the northbound side, leaving two people with major wounds.
 
Soon after, a CALSTAR medical helicopter arrived at the scene to pick up at least one of the victims to bring to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
