2 Hurt, Vehicle Crashes Into House, Gas Line near Eighth Street in Clovis

 
CLOVIS, CA (January 12, 2023) — Two people were injured after a car crashed into a home and a gas line near Eighth Street and Pollasky Avenue.
 
According to Clovis Fire Department officials, the fiery car accident happened around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a driver lost control and struck a house and its main line.
 
The gas meter reportedly sheared off and caught fire, severely damaging the house and truck involved.
 
The driver and passenger suffered injuries and required hospital care.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the leading cause of the crash. Although, if anyone has more information, please call Clovis Police.
