2 Injured in 805 Freeway Multi-Car Crash in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 16, 2022) — Two people were injured in a multi-car accident on the 805 Freeway near the 8 Freeway.
 
According to the San Diego fire department, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 3:15 a.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, several cars crashed in the southbound lanes of the freeway. Soon after, San Diego firefighters responded to the scene and rescued two people trapped in at least one car. Due to their injuries, paramedics took them to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
 
There is no available information surrounding what led to the crash. Although, once we receive more information on this accident, we will update this report.
