2 Hospitalized after Rollover Accident on Old Highway 395 near 15 Freeway in Fallbrook

 
FALLBROOK, CA (February 22, 2022) – Two people sustained injuries following a rollover accident on Old Highway 395 on Thursday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on February 17 at about 6:40 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle went off the roadway near 15 Freeway.
 
Then, the vehicle went up an embankment and rolled over multiple times.
 
The North County Fire Protection District responded to the scene and extricated two people from the wrecked vehicle. Paramedics later transported one of the victims to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the other victim had to be hospitalized as a precaution.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
