Police Arrest 16-Year-Old Girl after DUI Accident on Railroad Avenue in Newhall

 
NEWHALL, CA (June 30, 2021) – Two people sustained injuries and one was arrested after a DUI accident on Railroad Avenue in Newhall.
 
The accident happened around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, just south of Drayton Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old girl was driving a vehicle when she collided with another car.
 
As a result, two occupants in the second car sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Police arrested the teen driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
 
At this time, CHP officials are looking further into the accident.
