Two-Vehicle Accident on Tahquitz Canyon Way in Palm Springs Sends 2 People to Hospital

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (November 29, 2021) – Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident at Tahquitz Canyon Way and Calle Encilia in Palm Springs Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 1:43 p.m. on November 24. According to the Palm Springs Fire Department, two vehicles had collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles had flipped over.
 
Emergency responders arrived to find two people with injuries from the collision. They transported both to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
Officers briefly closed the southbound Calle Encilia while they documented the accident.
 
At this time, it is unclear if drugs or alcohol played a factor. Further investigation is underway.
