ARDEN ARCADE, CA (July 20, 2021) – Two people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Watt Avenue, Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on July 15, at about 9:00 a.m. A vehicle reportedly rear-ended another car near the area of Watt Avenue and Whitney Avenue.
 
The impact of the collision catapulted the vehicle over the center median. Then, the vehicle landed on the opposite lane, where it collided with at least two more vehicles.
 
Emergency crews transported two people to the hospital. Witnesses claim that one of the victims was a pregnant woman.
 
As per reports, at least one vehicle sustained significant damages. Debris was also scattered across the roadway, leading to lane closures.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
