Rollover Accident on 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley Badly Injures Two

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (July 13, 2021) – Two people sustained critical injuries after a rollover accident on 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 12:40 p.m. on July 8, near Nason Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black GMC Yukon went out of control for unknown reasons. It then overturned, rolling across the eastbound side of the freeway, over the center divider wall and into the first lane on the westbound side.
 
During the crash, the driver or front seat passenger was ejected and tossed into the westbound fast lane. That patient suffered major injuries.
 
A second patient sustained life-threatening injuries.
 
Paramedics took both patients to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
 
At least two other vehicles sustained minor damage in the crash, but no other injuries were reported.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
