18-Year-Old Ricky Alvarez Detained in Ontario Police Chase Crash on Euclid Avenue near 10 Freeway

 
ONTARIO, CA (May 13, 2021)Ricky Alvarez faces charges after Monday’s police chase accident on Euclid Avenue near the 10 Freeway.
 
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the chase began around 1:15 a.m. in Rancho Cucamonga. Police officers tried to make a traffic stop on the 18-year-old on suspicion of committing a traffic violation.
 
However, Alvarez failed to comply with authorities and led them on a 6-mile chase into Ontario. Subsequently, Alvarez crashed the car into a tree on Euclid Avenue and fled on foot, leaving three children behind with unspecified injuries.
 
Fortunately, police apprehend him at the hospital, where he had run off to. As of now, he remains incarcerated on suspicion of felony evading, child cruelty with injury and kidnapping.
