17-Year-Old Ivan Salcido Dies in Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway near 210 Freeway

 
FONTANA, CA (May 4, 2022) — Ivan Salcido died in a rollover accident on the 15 Freeway near the 210 Freeway on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-vehicle crash happened around 7:07 p.m. For unknown reasons, 17-year-old Salcido lost control of his gray 2006 GMC Sierra. Subsequently, the pickup rolled over several times before landing on its roof, blocking the freeway lanes.
 
Soon after, the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene but pronounced him dead at 7:21 p.m.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics brought his 17-year-old female passenger to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
 
At this time, the leading cause of this accident appears unclear. However, investigators have ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the crash. If anyone has more information, please contact the CHP.
