High-Speed Crash on Gothard Street in Huntington Beach Injures Driver and 4 Passengers

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (February 23, 2023) – A 17-year-old boy and four other people were injured in a high-speed accident on Gothard Street in Huntington Beach Sunday evening.
 
The accident happened around 10:40 p.m. on February 19, just south of McFadden Avenue. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the teen was driving a 1998 Toyota 4Runner with four passengers. The SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed.
 
The impact injured all five people inside the car. Paramedics transported them to a local hospital in unknown conditions.
 
Police did not indicate whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. They urged anyone with further information to call them at 714-536-5666.
