16-Year-Old Hurt in Eastvale Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Schleisman Road

 
EASTVALE, CA (September 9, 2021) — A 16-year-old suffered minor injuries in Friday’s hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Schleisman Road and Sumner Avenue.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 3:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver making a right turn struck the teen in a marked crosswalk.
 
Following the accident, paramedics and authorities responded to find the 16-year-old with minor injuries and the driver unaccounted for. Police say he had left the scene, traveling southbound on Sumner Avenue.
