16-Year-Old Bicyclist Dies in Hit-and-Run on Hemlock Street at N Street [Oxnard, CA]

Teenage Bicyclist Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Hemlock Street in Oxnard

 
OXNARD, CA (October 4, 2021) – Police confirmed the death of a 16-year-old bicyclist following a hit-and-run accident on Hemlock Street on September 29.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Hemlock Street at N Street at approximately 8:34 PM.
 
Based on an initial report, the teenager was traveling on the road prior to the crash. Subsequently, a red compact sedan struck him. Then, the vehicle fled westbound on Hemlock towards Ventura Road.
 
As a result, the teenage boy suffered critical injuries. Paramedics transported him to Ventura County Medical Center, where he died. Officials only identified him as a boy from Port Hueneme.
 
At this point, the Oxnard Police Department is looking for the vehicle responsible for this hit-and-run accident on Hemlock Street. Also, officers ask anyone with information to contact them at 805-385-7600 or file a report online.
