Erica Menjivar Dies in Los Angeles Car Crash on New Hampshire Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 25, 2022) — A teenager died in a car accident on New Hampshire Avenue near Beverly Boulevard on Sunday morning.
 
Police identified 15-year-old girl Erica Menjivar of Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal crash happened around 9:00 a.m. in the 300 block of North New Hampshire Avenue in Koreatown. For unknown reasons, two cars crashed, causing one person to be ejected from one of the vehicles.
 
Shortly after, firefighter-paramedics arrived. Officials confirmed Menjivar dead at the scene.
 
At this time, officers have no information on the ultimate cause of the accident. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm the details.
