Teen Seriously Injured in Bicycle Accident on Hansen Avenue near Dutra Way in Fremont

 
FREMONT, CA (July 12, 2021) – A 15-year-old boy sustained serious injuries following a bicycle accident on Hansen Avenue, Sunday July 4.
 
According to the Fremont Police Department, the incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit the teen cyclist near the area of Hansen Avenue and Dutra Way.
 
Emergency responders rushed the boy to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. As per reports, the victim remains in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
