Teenage Boy Hurt in Hit-and-Run Accident on March Lane and Quail Lakes Drive
STOCKTON, CA (November 29, 2021) — A bicyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on March Lane on Wednesday, November 24.
According to Stockton police, the incident happened at the intersection of March Lane and Quail Lakes Drive.
The collision happened when an SUV turned right and the driver did not notice the bicyclists crossing the street. The SUV then hit one of the bicyclists, the 15-year-old boy.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the area. They discovered the boy limping and hurt as a result of the incident.
Medics rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment. The condition of the injured teen was not immediately available.
Meanwhile, police confirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the bicyclist and then left the area. They described the vehicle as an early 2000s-model Chevy Tahoe.
Officers temporarily closed the corner of March Lane and Quail Lakes after the crash.
The Stockton hit-and-run incident is still under investigation.
