Teen Dies after Car Overturns on 210 Freeway in Rialto

 
RIALTO, CA (July 14, 2022) – A 14-year-old boy was killed in a car accident on 210 Freeway in Rialto on Monday, July 11.
 
The accident happened around 10:23 p.m. just east of Locust Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2011 White Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on the freeway. For unknown reasons, the driver allowed the car to veer to the right, into the ascending dirt embankment.
 
The Honda then overturned, ejecting the teen who was seating in the backseat.
 
The teen suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office withheld his identity at this time.
 
Three other people in the vehicle sustained moderate injuries.
