Two-Vehicle Accident on North Rose Avenue in Oxnard Kills Teen and Injures Two Adults

 
OXNARD, CA (July 14, 2021) – A 13-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle accident at North Rose Avenue and East Gonzales Road Tuesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 2:03 p.m. on July 13. According to the Oxnard Police Department, a 2012 white Dodge Ram 2500 was traveling southbound on Rose Avenue while a 1999 silver Honda Civic was heading northbound.
 
The 45-year-old female driver of the Civic attempted to turn left onto Gonzales Road and the two vehicles collided at the intersection.
 
Paramedics rushed the driver and two passengers of the Civic to a hospital. Sadly, the 13-year-old did not survive and was declared dead.
 
The two occupants in the Dodge were unhurt.
 
Oxnard traffic investigators closed the intersection in all directions while they worked on the scene.
