11-Year-Old Willow Sanchez, 12-Year-Old Daytona Bronas, 13-Year-Old Sandra Mizer Dead in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Camp Rock Road at Rabbit Springs Road
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (June 7, 2021) — 11-Year-Old Willow Sanchez, 12-Year-Old Daytona Bronas and 13-Year-Old Sandra Mizer died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Camp Rock Road at Rabbit Springs Road Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 10:19 p.m. For unknown reasons, a white 2002 Chevrolet Silverado struck four children, including the three fatal victims, from behind. As a result, Sanchez, Bronas and Mizer died at the scene of the crash.
Meanwhile, the fourth victim, later identified as Natalie Coe, survived the incident with major injuries. At this time, she is recovering at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
According to witnesses, two people who appeared to have been intoxicated exited out of the truck with flashlights. However, they fled the scene shortly after seeing the girls’ bodies.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation. Although, if anyone has more information on this fatal accident, please contact the CHP.
