11-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured, Elena McGraw-Ogans Arrested in DUI Crash on East Tabor Avenue [Fairfield, CA]

Child Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries after Struck by DUI Driver at East Tabor and Blossom Avenues, Suspect Arrested

 
FAIRFIELD, CA (March 26, 2023) – An 11-year-old girl was critically injured and Elena Lindsey McGraw-Ogans was arrested in a DUI crash in Fairfield on Thursday morning.
 
The crash happened around 8:00 a.m. on March 23 at East Tabor Avenue and Blossom Avenue, just near Grange Middle School. According to the Fairfield Police Department, the 32-year-old suspect from Fairfield was driving Chevrolet sedan when she struck the child who was walking in a crosswalk
 
First responders rushed the girl to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Meanwhile, police determined that McGraw-Ogans was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Children were inside the suspect’s sedan at the time of the crash.
 
Police arrested McGraw-Ogans for felony DUI resulting in injury, as well as child endangerment. They booked her into a Solano County Jail.
 
According to jail records, McGraw-Ogans is expected to appear in court Monday. An investigation is underway.
