1 Woman Killed, Car Crashes into Billboard Pillar on Senter Road in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (December 12, 2022) — A woman died after a car crashed into a billboard pillar on Senter Road near Story Road.
 
According to San Jose police, the fatal single-car accident occurred around 11:46 p.m. Saturday. For DUI-related reasons, a driver in a 2022 Chevrolet truck, shuttling three women, crashed into a steel billboard pillar. It appears the driver was heading northbound on Senter Road before he crashed while making a turn onto Story Road.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel arrived and brought three women to a nearby hospital, where one of them died.
 
The driver stayed at the scene and showed obvious signs of impairment during the investigation, leading to his arrest as authorities booked him into Santa Clara County Main jail.
 
Authorities do not have the victim’s name at this time. Although, once the police have notified her family, we will update this report with more information.
