1 Person Dies in Multi-Car Accident on 405 Freeway in Carson

 
CARSON, CA (June 7, 2022) — One person died in a multi-car crash on the 405 Freeway near Wilmington Avenue on Monday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 4:20 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a work truck and a sedan crashed in an unknown fashion and a second vehicle possibly involved in the accident pulled over at the Wilmington Avenue exit.
 
Upon responding, paramedics found one person lying on the ground and debris and drywall littering hundreds of feet in the lanes.
 
One person died in the accident, but the person’s name and residence were unavailable.
 
At this time, authorities have yet to establish the leading cause of the crash. Thus, if anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
