1 Person Dead in DUI Motorcycle Crash near Yosemite Avenue in Manteca

 
MANTECA, CA (June 22, 2023) — One person died in a DUI motorcycle accident near Yosemite Avenue and Fishback Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly motorcycle collision happened around 9:00 a.m. Monday. Under unclear circumstances, a motorcycle rider crashed into a vehicle. The person operating the motorcycle suffered major injuries and passed away in the crash. The other driver stayed on the scene.
 
Responding authorities investigated the accident and believe DUI played a factor. Police also believe the motorcyclist was speeding prior to the impact.
