1 Killed after Car Crash on Sherwood Road in Willits

 
WILLITS, CA (August 12, 2022) — One person died in a car accident on Sherwood Road near Lupine Way on Thursday morning.
 
According to emergency personnel, the fatal car accident happened in the 25700 block of Sherwood Road. Just north of Willits, a car crashed and veered off the road around 10:22 a.m.
 
Shortly after, California Highway Patrol officers from the Garberville station reached the scene and confirmed the fatality. As a result of the crash, investigators had to close Sherwood Road from Lupine Way to Daphne Way.
