1 Person Dead in 2-Car Crash near Sierra Way in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (January 5, 2023) — One person died in a 2-car accident near Sierra Way and 40th Street.
 
According to Sgt. Von Verbanic of the San Bernardino Police Department, the fatal two-car crash happened around 7:00 p.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, two cars crashed near the intersection. As a result, one person suffered fatal injuries and another sustained unknown injuries.
 
Authorities will release the fatal victim’s identity once they notify family members.
 
It’s unclear what drove the collision, but authorities believe the rain might have played a factor. If anyone has seen this crash, please call the San Bernardino Police.
