1 Person Dies in Porter Ranch 2-Car Crash on Highway 118

 
PORTER RANCH, CA (February 2, 2022) — One person died in a 2-car accident on Highway 118 near Reseda Boulevard on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 6:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, two cars collided just west of the Reseda Boulevard on- and off-ramps.
 
As a result of the crash, one person – who was described as an occupant of a white sedan that sustained major damage to its driver’s side – died at the scene.
 
Next to the white car stood a red sedan that sustained front-end damage.
 
At this time, officers have not released the ultimate cause of the accident. However, anyone with information related to this crash should reach out to the authorities.
