1 Person Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 138
HESPERIA, CA (February 9, 2022) — One person was injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 138 near Summit Valley Road on Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle collision happened around 6:54 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver of a Toyota Tacoma traveling on Highway 138 collided with the motorcyclist. Before the impact, the rider began to make a left turn movement from Highway 138 onto Summit Valley Road, per witnesses. However, the imminent crash unfolded anyhow.
Shortly after, emergency crews responded and brought the injured rider to Community Hospital of San Bernardino. Meanwhile, the uninjured pickup driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
