1 Person Hospitalized, Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Little Fairfield Street in Eureka

 
EUREKA, CA (March 28, 2023) — One person suffered an injury in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Little Fairfield Street near Barnum Street.
 
According to a scanner traffic report, the hit-and-run happened around 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of an unknown make and model struck a pedestrian in the 4400 block of Little Fairfield Street.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel arrived and brought the victim to a hospital for treatment.
 
California Highway Patrol officers responded to investigate, labeling the incident as a hit-and-run.
